Paul had is greatest impact and success with bowling during the period from 1965 to 1978.
Canadian Singles Champion in 1966.
Canadian Doubles Champion with Norm Heywood in 1966.
Manitoba Athlete of the Year in 1966.
Canadian Bowling Proprietors Association member of the “Dream Team 1966-67.
FIQ World Championships in Malmo, Sweden (Captain and Coach). The first time Canada had a team in the FIQ (3 men and 1 woman) in 1967.
September 19th, 1970, Centennial Sports Dinner. Paul was named the bowler (5 and 10 pin) who made the most impact in bowling during the first 100 years of the sport in Manitoba (ie. 1870 – 1970).
Member of the 1971 Canadian Team to the FIQ World Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Member of an eight man 1975 Canadian Team to World FIQ in London, England. Won the Silver medal.
Three times qualified for Match Play in American Bowling Congress Masters Annual Tournament by winning the All-Events Scratch in either Provincial or City Annual Tournaments.
Won Marinelli Singles (City Singles Champion) in 1976-77.
Winner of the Winnipeg Bowling Association Tournament of Champions in 1978-79.
Won several Provincial and City Annual Tournament Scratch All-Events on numerous occasions.
