One of Manitoba’s better bowlers for over 30 years and still rolling excellent scores. Ray has qualified for a Provincial Bowling Association card and is competing in the 50 Plus Seniors PBA Division in the United States.
The following are some of Ray Shuel’s accomplishments:
Represented Manitoba in World Cup Canadian Final and placed third.
Represented Manitoba in the finals of the International Airline Masters Tenpin Tournament
Member of a four man team that rolled a Canadian Single game record of 1,019 (Ray shot 267)
Rolled a sanctioned perfect game of 300 and received ABC Ring Award in December, 1983
Was particularly successful in twenty Annual World Airlines Tournaments at overseas locations.
In 1988 set all time high score records in Rome (Singles, Doubles, All-Events and High Average of 218 for 22 games).
In 1981, First in Singles in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 1986, First in Team in Frankfurt, Germany.
In 1987, First in Doubles in Singapore.
Bowled 12 – Three Game Series over 700, highest 766.
Bowled 8 – Four Game Series over 900, highest 960.
League average between 190 and 198 over 8 times.
