Terry has the unique experience of being the first woman to bowl a perfect game in Manitoba’s history. This was accomplished in 1976 at Club Laverendrye. She has won many Manitoba Events including the prestigious Cameo Classic, the 600 Club, the Winnipeg Women’s Bowling Association “A” Division Doubles, the City Team Championship with the A.P. Green Team and the 200 Club.

At the National level, Terry qualified from Manitoba many times to the Canadian Tenpin Federation National Championships. She also qualified twice for the Canadian World Cup Finals, winning this event in 1974.

She represented Canada at the World Cup in Caracas, Venezuela in 1974, placing 12th in the world. This achievement led to her becoming a finalist in the Manitoba Sportswriters & Sportcasters Female Athlete of the Year.

Terry was a dedicated volunteer for bowling and held many posts, including Secretary & Tournament Director for the Winnipeg Junior Bowling Association, Assistant Secretary & Director of the Winnipeg Women’s Bowling Association, Canadian Tenpin Federation Director for Manitoba and attended the Winnipeg International Bowling Congress convention as a Manitoba Delegate.
