The Female and Male Youth Bowlers of the Year are chosen by the MBA based on their previous season’s performance. In accordance with Sport Manitoba guidelines, the nominees must be 18 years of age or under as of January 1st of the award year. Sport Manitoba holds a press conference each year (March-April) to acknowledge the achievements of nominees from all the recognized sports and announce their final selection for the Manitoba Youth Athletes of the Year.
