INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT
Inducted 1992
Lil Anderson began Tenpin Bowling in 1968 and has
been one of the top lady bowlers in the Province ever since.
Lil has averaged from 170 to 182 since 1979. She held
the current record for High Three Game Scratch Series of 722 (247,
233, 242) until 1994.
Qualified as Provincial Team representative to the
Canadian Tenpin Federation Nationals in 1979, 1982, 1983 and 1986
competing in Winnipeg, Montreal and Burlington.
Won Manitoba Title in the AMF-Coca Cola World Cup
in 1989 and competed at O'Connor Bowl, Toronto.
At the Bowling Proprietors Association of Canada Tournament
on TSN in 1988 Lil placed first and in 1989 she placed second in
the semi-finals and in 1990, she also placed first in quarter finals.
In addition to her individual achievements Lil has
spent many hours coaching and helping Junior Bowers in the Youth
Programs at Dauphin.
