Harry Collister started Tenpin Bowling in 1938, at the Recreation Lanes in Brandon. In 1964, Harry was a founding member of the Manitoba Provincial Tenpin Bowling Association and in June of 1967, became a Honorary Life Member.

Since the Brandon Tenpin Bowling Association was formed in 1966, Harry served in a number of positions until 1969.

He moved to Moose Jaw in 1969, and was responsible for the formation of the Moose Jaw Bowling Association.

In 1970, Harry became a Life Member of the Brandon Tenpin Bowling Association.

In 1973, Harry retired to Victoria, British Columbia where he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Victoria Men's Bowling Association and served as President for four years. Harry came home to Brandon in 1991, and we welcome him into our Bowling Hall of Fame.
