MERITORIOUS SERVICE

1944-45 Started Tenpin Bowling at the Circle Ouvrier Club in St. Boniface.

1946-48 Irene joined the Senior Mixed, Bowl Arena Mixed and many other leagues.

1949-50 The Winnipeg Women's Bowling Association was formed, Irene was one of the founding members and served as one of its first directors.

1950 Irene bowled the 1st 700 Three Game Series for women in Manitoba and Western Canada (2nd in Canada).

1953-69 Irene held the position of Secretary with the Winnipeg Women's Bowling Association for 16 years. She was also recognized for her "600 Series" and various other awards.

Irene was a dedicated member of the W.W.B.A. and W.I.B.C. for many years.

Irene passed on in 1981 at the age of 52.
