MINI SCHOLARSHIPS

Objective: To provide an incentive to participate in each tournament and a financial support to the senior and junior bowlers.

Eligibility: Open to all CTF senior, and junior division bowlers in good standing.

Determining the Winners: The winners shall be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place bowlers after the stepladder of each tournament and if possible the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place bowlers of the Championship and Consolation. For example, $350 shall be divided up into 1st-$130, 2nd-$90, 3rd-$70, 4th-$60, and 5th-$50. In the event of insufficient number of sponsors, the amounts for each tournament shall be decreased accordingly.

Use and Disbursement: Funds will be paid for tuition and educational/career supplies upon presentation of receipts. This can be done any time in the school year. Monies may also be used for bowling camps, seminars, and clinics. If the funds are not claimed within 5 years, the amount shall be forfeited and the monies shall remain in the scholarship fund.

All rules of the CTF shall apply to this scholarship.

A scholarship committee shall settle any problems that may arise.

AGGREGATE SCHOLARSHIP
Sincere thanks to Jack Lazaruk of Logan Ironworks for his partial contribution
of $500 toward the high aggregate scholarship.

Objective: To encourage junior and senior CTF bowlers to pursue education related to their chosen careers and to provide an added incentive to remain in the junior program.


Eligibility: Open to all CTF junior and senior division bowlers in good standing. After winning the scholarship, they must be full time students at any accredited institute of learning (i.e. universities, colleges, technical schools, trade schools).


Determining the Winners: The winners shall be the first place aggregate winners from both the boys and girls division. The amount of $500 shall be awarded to the first place boys aggregate winner, and to the first place girls aggregate winner.


Disbursement: Funds will be paid for tuition, related books and supplies upon presentation of receipts and the end of the school term(s) or on completion of the courses (whichever comes first). These funds shall be available for a maximum period of 5 years from the effective date. If the funds are not used in the 5 year time, the amount shall be forfeited and it shall remain in the scholarship fund. 

In the event of a tie for aggregate points, the winners shall share equally in the scholarship.

All rules of the CTF shall apply to the above scholarships.
