Over a 15 year span Simone has averaged 179 for 12 of those years with a High Single 279 and Three Game Series of 647. But her greatest accomplishments were at the National and International competitions.
In 1980, Simone won the All-Events category of the Winnipeg Women’s Bowling Association with 1671.
In 1981 she also represented Manitoba at the Canadian Tenpin Federation National Trials in Vancouver and earned a spot on the Canadian Ladies Team and represented Canada at the FIQ Zone Championships in Winnipeg, where she finished sixth overall and won the following medals:
Gold in Trios (Average 190)
Silver in Singles (Average 190)
Bronze in Teams (Average 204)
In 1983, Simone bowled 812 for a four games to win the Manitoba Provincial Tenpin Bowling Association’s “600” Club Tournament.
In 1984, she represented Manitoba at the Canadian Tenpin Federation National Trials in Montreal and earned a spot on the National Ladies team going to Caracas, Venezuela. She also represented Manitoba in the World Cup in Toronto, finishing 4th.
In 1986, Simone represented Manitoba at CTF Nationals in Toronto, made the Canadian Women’s Team and competed in Helsinki, Finland.
In 1987 and 1990, Simone also represented Manitoba at the Canadian Tenpin Federation’s Nationals in Vancouver and Montreal.
